The worst thing about child labor is that it’s so cruel! Children can’t go to school or have fun. They work long hours in unsafe conditions. I read that fourteen year old James Flores said the hardest part about working in the fields is not having fun. I feel bad that these young children and teens have to work and not have a normal childhood.

I agree, Vittoria. Kids should play, have fun, make friends, and grow before they have to worry about working. I am grateful that there are laws in America against children working.

You are so right, Vittoria. It is not fun doing work on a field. Also it is so cruel that they won't let the children go to school and get a good education. It to me is sad that a lot of children are working in such a very bad condition

Nice job Vittoria. I agree with you because you gave FABULOUS ideas about why child labor is wrong. Also it sounds like you had experience of child labor but not really. but nice job and keep working hard.

I agree with you Vittoria. Kids should be able to have fun and NOT work.I think you and I and the whole class want to BAN CHILD LABOR FOR GOOD!!!!

Vittoria, Child labor certainly is cruel. You are right, it robs children of their childhood. I am glad there are laws in the US against child labor.
