I think that the worst thing about child labor is that children all over the world cannot go to school. For example, in “Working in the Fields”, a boy named James Flores has to pick crops. He has to pick crops to help make ends meet for his family. Another example is “Life in the Dumps” about a girl named Tariah who gets a little pay to pick up glass. Tariah picks up glass and it makes her hands bleed. Child labor is not safe.

I like your examples, Megan. You make really good points by being so specific. Nice writing!

Megan, child labor is dangerous. You are right. Children need to grrow and learn and play.

Now, don't you feel lucky to live in a place where you can go to school and to the mall and to the beach?

Megan, you are right. Education is very important. Hopefully someday things will change and children can go to school instead of working in such dangerous conditions.
