I think the worst thing about child labor is the poor job conditions. The reason why I think it’s the worst thing is because in ‘Life in the Dumps’ it says that Tariah, an 11 year old girl, pick through garbage but there is broken glass that cuts her hands. Also, it says in the last paragraph in “Life in the Dumps” they get sick. Another reason why I think it’s the worst is that some children have to pick crops but there are chemicals on the crops that make kids sick. We should not have Child Labor in the world. How can we help stop it?

The first step to stopping the problem of child labor is to raise people's awareness, as you are doing, Josh.
I agree that health issues are a big problem for young children who work in awful conditions. Lack of going to school and getting educated is another big problem.
Thanks for writing about this important issue!

I think that is very true that we should do something and soon because if we don't it could go on for a very long time and children will be suffering and we cant let that happen so good lob Josh.

I think the job conditions are bad for kids arond the world like Tariah. She has to work in dumps picking up bags and glass that is very poor working conditions.Good job Josh.

You are right, Josh. I would not like to work in the dumps. I think Tariah should go to school and grow-up normally instead of working in the dumps.

Josh, I agree that the working conditions are very dangerous and extremely unhealthy. It is a huge concern. Your right when you said that child labor around the world should be stopped.
